You know, I have a hard time understanding at times that not everyone enjoys the same shit from video games. See, I like violence and bloodshed. Some people (weirdos!) do not. I understand that violence doesn’t really always make things better but hell, red is my favorite color after all. If you are gonna play this game I give you one warning, I hope you can tolerate Godsmack because, IIIII STAND ALONE!
The Prince of Persia: Warrior Within Story
Lets see here. You remove the love interest. You add a monster stalking you. A backdrop of the consequences of cheating death. Running from inevitability… yeah, you got me hooked. Following the story of the previous game, the prince is running. Running from this thing called the Dahaka, fate who feels scorned by the prince’s treason to the underworld for using the sand to stay alive. You’re gonna hack, slash, and put another hole in the ass of everything that by gawd moves.

So, the first game is tale of romance and intrigue and finesse. This game… this game we KILL! One of the biggest short comings of the first game is noticeable frame rate drop causing slow down at pivotal points. Yeah, we still got some puzzles here but the focus is on the damn action! Much like the discussion we had on stream about Twisted Metal Black, yes, maybe violence and dark themes aren’t your cup of tea, but they are mine… And they make me enjoy these games a lot more.
It’s just a slightly darker version of the last game just with more of a focus on combat and killing.
