From Ready 2 Rumble we went to the absolute hardest of the Twisted Metal games… As of writing this it remains blank because I think not getting your lives back is bullshit in Twisted Metal 4, However, I do believe the most challenging is Black. BUT, that shit aside this is the strangest of the bunch and in my opinion the worst. RC Cars with guns in PSXSLAYER #0012 Twisted Metal Small Brawl.

What is the point of allowing a series to mature and get more bleak and dark just to market a game geared towards a younger fan base the same year you drop the darkest of the series. You called it BLACK while making WHACK!

People like to say that Twisted Metal III has weak stories, well, HaHa! You never played this shit. This game’s story is whack as fuck, The gameplay is only a little bit better. As stated earlier, On the PS2 while this game was being developed we have Black, Black has some of the absolute best story telling a video game can offer. This game, however, does not.
Calypso is just a bully or some shit and all the kids are going to blow up each other’s RC Cars in revenge. That’s my take away. Who wished for this game? Flower Power?

Well. It is sluggish, the weapons are stupid, It is not fun. This game is just a chore to play. This is the game you give your kids when they refuse to clean their room. IF YOU DON’T CLEAN YOUR ROOM I’M GONNA MAKE YOU PLAY SMALL BRAWL! NoOooOoOOoOoOoOoOoOooooO!
Seriously, I do not understand this game’s existence. Play Head-On and act like this game doesn’t fucking exist. Also, the bosses in this game are ridiculously overpowered. Oh and don’t think I didn’t notice that sometimes enemies just don’t take damage and sometimes they take wayyyy more damage than they should.

The only saving grace of this game is that IT knows it is broken as fuck. Enemies will kill each other and drive off platforms to help you out. The bosses are still hard though. You better safeguard those health pickups even if you don’t need them. Just like in Twisted Metal 4.

So, the stages are very well designed, even if the RC cars look shitty. The cutscenes look very nice, same as Twisted Metal 4. But still, some skyboxes are too far out causing distortion on textures.
One thing that kills me with this game is that the Bedroom stage was used in Twisted Metal 4, why the fuck didn’t they put that stage in this game?
