PlayStation is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its original console with a new limited-edition collection of PS5 consoles and accessories.

In honor of this milestone, PlayStation is unveiling a special edition of the PS5 Pro console and accessories, showcasing nostalgic design features and a classic color scheme reminiscent of the first PlayStation console.

But that’s not all—PlayStation has made these limited-edition consoles even more unique. Each PS5 Pro in this collection will have an individual number, marking it as a collector’s item. Only 12,300 units will be available.

How to Get the 30th Anniversary PlayStation

Sony has launched a retro-themed PS5 console and accessory collection to mark this 30th anniversary. Pre-orders for the 30th Anniversary PlayStation Pro began on Thursday, September 26, at 7 a.m. Arizona time, and they sold out in seconds, according to IGN.com.

As expected, many of these consoles have already appeared on resale sites like eBay, with scalpers listing them at much higher prices than the original $999.99 retail price.
